Resonance Health is pleased to announce that the FerriScan^® patient scan time has been reduced by 60% to approximately 10 minutes.

A multicentre study in collaboration with key opinion leaders has just been completed. The results (publication pending) enable Resonance Health to today announce that the MRI scan time for patients can be significantly reduced, while still providing the accuracy and precision our customers have come to expect with FerriScan^®.

The innovation involves a minor and easily implemented modification to the standard FerriScan^® data acquisition protocol. This is a significant improvement for patients and for busy MRI departments, improving the cost effectiveness of the FerriScan^® test.

This is an extremely positive step in our continuous improvement program for FerriScan^® and for the management of iron overload.
