Resonance Health has recently conducted a survey of the MRI facilities that provide FerriScan, to gather some feedback regarding the FerriScan image analysis service we provide and any areas where our service could be improved.
The survey was sent to 80 FerriScan MRI facilities and we received 40 responses. The feedback we received was very encouraging with an overall rating of "excellent" or "good" by 94% of respondents!
Some of the key areas of feedback were:
1. 97% of the responses stated that setting up the FerriScan imaging protocol was not difficult.
2. 100% of the responses stated it was not difficult to perform a FerriScan on a patient with 78% stating that it was "easy".
3. 80% of the responses stated the FerriScan result turnaround time was "excellent" or "good".
4. 97% of the responses rated general communication from Resonance Health as "excellent" or "good"
From the survey, we also learnt that the top 3 indications of patients having a FerriScan are (i) thalassaemia, (ii) hereditary haemochromatosis and (iii) sickle cell disease. Many of the respondents had also indicated their interest in the development of the cardiac and fibrosis measurements which are in the pipeline.
The survey showed an exceptional result with the service we provide and we are confident that the recently launched FerriScan Rapide protocol will further enhance the FerriScan experience for all the MRI facilities.
