| Any GP in the UK is now able to book their patients for a FerriScan at the Whittington Hospital in London through the NHS Choose and Book system. This allows appointments to be made on the spot, with the costs covered by a Health Trust.
It is of particular benefit to haemochromatosis patients, who are usually seen initially by their GP.
FerriScan's availability on Choose and Book has great potential to expand the market for the service in the UK.
