14th International Conference on Thalassaemia and Other Haemoglobinopathies, Thalassaemia International Federation

The 14th International Conference on Thalassaemia and Other Haemoglobinopathies is a three-day event hosted by the Thalassemia International Federation (TIF). This scientific meeting will cover a broad range of topics focusing on new advances and innovative treatment methods, with expert sessions scheduled to improve clinical management and the multidisciplinary care of patients. This conference will provide key opportunities for the Resonance Health team to liaise with global experts in the field of Thalassaemia and hold direct conversations with key personnel regarding the rollout of our FerriScan AI solution.

Resonance Health's Chief Scientiifc Officer, Professor Tim St Pierre, will also be giving a presentation on measuring tissue iron overload using magnetic resonance imaging and artificial intelligence during this conference.

TIF will also be hosting a round table meeting entitled 'ADDRESSING UNSAFE IRON MONITORING IN THALASSAEMIA - TIME FOR A CONSENSUS' at which Prof. St Pierre and Melanie Baxter will be presenting both the results of the Dragon study and of our recent survey into current MRI practices in developing countries. The aim of the meeting is to try to reach a consensus on the next steps in the short and long term, and following this meeting Resonance will finalise planning to commence beta testing of the FerriSCan AI solution across multiple sites in emering growth markets.
