Easy FerriScan Set-up

FerriScan is offered as a service and does not require that customers purchase any hardware or software. Interested MRI Centres are asked to submit a Scanner Details Form, which enables an assessment of the suitability of their scanner for the FerriScan and / or cardiac T2* protocols.

A Service Agreement is then  established with interested MRI Centres, and an Instruction Manual  provided on all aspects of the FerriScan and cardiac T2* analysis service. A Phantom Pack is also provided to validate that the scanner has been set up correctly.  Scan data is transmitted for analysis at the FerriScan quality-controlled central processing facility. Once the Phantom Pack has been successfully scanned, the MRI Centre will receive confirmation that patient scanning may commence.

This makes establishment of the FerriScan service at an MRI centre quick, easy and inexpensive.

	• MRI Centre establishes FerriScan protocol on scanner and scans Phantom Pack
	• MRI centre sends Phantom Images to verify FerriScan setup. Annual re-verification of scanner required
	• Customer sent Scanner Verification Letter to commence patient scanning
