The conference will focus on current and emerging management and treatment options for sickle cell disease, drug development, clinical trials and genetics. A team consisting of Resonance Health’s Marketing Director, Melanie Baxter, Global Brand Marketing Manager, Angeli Malkani and colleague Sheila Murphy will be representing Resonance Health and our FerriScan technology.
Patients with sickle cell disease are treated with regular blood transfusions and as such are susceptible to iron overload. Resonance Health’s FerriScan R2-MRI technology is globally recognised as the gold standard for the measurement of liver iron concentration and as such can improve clinical management of patients with sickle cell disease.
