Dr Martin Blake
Dr Blake is a Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Specialist and brings a wealth of technical and industry experience to Resonance Health. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holding directorships on several private and public company boards and was chairman of Perth Radiological Clinic from 2009-21. Dr Blake is a business development professional graduated from the University of Melbourne – Melbourne Business School, is a practicing radiologist, has over 20 years of experience and insight into healthcare M&A, and brings skills in innovation and technology commercialisation.

Mr Mitchell Wells
Mitchell is an experienced senior executive and a qualified lawyer with commercial and legal experience in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. He has served as a director and worked as a senior executive of listed public and private companies including ASX and Nasdaq listed companies. He has international management experience in several industries, including as project manager and lawyer for AEG Europe and The O2 in London, UK. Prior to that, he was legal counsel for London 2012 which successfully bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games. He holds Bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce and a Diploma of Aviation. He joined Resonance Health in 2017 as legal consultant and in 2021 took the position of Managing Director. He has served as Chair of two not-for-profit organisations.


Mr Simon Paton

Mr Simon Paton
Simon has been a major shareholder of Resonance Health since 2008 and joined the board in 2009, as he is a strong believer in liver health technologies. He started and ran his own successful small business for over 15 years and brings skills in business and marketing. He has experience in the property industry, financial markets, and the acquisition and disposal of investments. He currently manages assets and projects associated within family holdings and was a previous Non-Executive Director of 4DS Ltd.

Dr Travis Baroni PhD
Travis has broad experience across different sectors: industrial research, commercialisation of technology, asset valuations, and investment banking services. He has been a manager of innovation development and technology strategy in a large company setting, as well as an active investor in early-stage investments. He has worked in investment banking, providing advisory services to equity capital market transactions, corporate research, and valuations to clients.

Mr Nick Allan
Nick has over 25 years of experience in commerce, corporate finance, accounting, information technology, corporate advisory and public practice. After obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK with Coopers & Lybrand, and later worked with JP Morgan in their European M&A Division. After returning to Australia, he worked at Deloitte and Ernst & Young in their corporate finance departments, and also with Patersons Securities. Since 2007, Nick has provided corporate advisory, general management and IT consulting services to a wide variety of companies. He has been Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Company Secretary of ASX-listed public companies.

Dr Wenjie Pang PhD
Wenjie built a successful career in China, researching magnetism in different forms. He has over 30 years of experience within different science and technology sectors. He joined the University of Western Australia as a visiting research fellow in the Department of Physics. After an International Scholarship to study for his PhD and some time at the University of Colorado in the US, Dr Pang became one of the first employees of Resonance Health in 2005. Wenjie’s roles in the company have been pivotal and varied. He has been overseeing FerriScan® technology and is heavily involved in R&D projects as well as collaboration with external research partners. To make his own lifestyle more carbon neutral, he cycles to work and returns home with headwind almost on a daily basis.

Mr Ben Winters
Ben has more than 20 years’ experience in the software development industry and has been responsible for the successful delivery of enterprise level web-based technology solutions. He has been responsible for successfully introducing and implementing agile software development methodologies and improving development practices for organisations across Australia, including the ANZ as well as other organisations in the mining and education sectors. Ben is excited about the company’s growth potential and the focus on better patient outcomes through our product offering and tech solutions.

Mr Chad Tondut
Mr Chad Tondut is a communications professional with over 15 years’ experience in corporate communication, digital marketing, and product development and strategy. Chad joined Resonance Health in early 2017, and is now overseeing the development and innovation of the company’s manual and automated (AI) medical devices.

Mrs Virginia Atkinson
Virginia has over 20 years’ experience in public and private pathology laboratories with a focus on Transfusion Medicine and Quality Assurance and Compliance. She has project managed the Installation and accreditation of new multidisciplined laboratories as well as a successful redevelopment of a critical metropolitan private hospital laboratory ensuring uninterrupted seamless service delivery while meeting and exceeding all quality and accreditation requirements. She joined the Resonance Health team in 2020 and has taken steps to identify and implement a number of critical changes to ensure continued high-quality standards across all areas of the organisation. Currently, she leads the quality assurance and regulatory affairs team.

Dr Sofie De Meyer PhD
Sofie is an internationally recognised expert in biotechnology with 10+years leading innovation at research institutes and businesses. After obtaining her PhD from Ghent University (Belgium) she moved to Australia to establish a research career. The commercialisation of her own research presented an ideal step change towards a career shift and she has since focused on research commercialisation. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family she always had the mindset of making things work. This led to being a recipient and finalist for numerous grants and awards, including the WA Young Tall Poppy award in 2017 and the Business News 40U40 award in 2019. She joined Resonance Health in early 2022 and leads the clinical business development team.

Dr Tim St Pierre

Dr Tim St Pierre PhD
Dr St Pierre, led the team which developed the original FerriScan®, FerriSmart®, and HepaFat-Scan® technologies at Resonance Health. He has strong links with international key opinion leaders in the field of iron overload and fatty liver disease. Dr St Pierre has published over 200 peer reviewed research papers and regularly participates in international research collaborations. In 2010, he won the Clunies Ross Award from the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, in 2015 the Ernst and Young Western Region Entrepreneur of the Year Award and in 2016 the Panos Englezos Prize from the Thalassaemia International Federation for his contribution to the improvement of health for patients with thalassaemia. He currently holds an honorary Senior Research Fellowship at The University of Western Australia and is our Chief Research Scientist.

Dr Sherif Boulos PhD
Dr Sherif Boulos’ role includes identifying and coordinating clinical studies in which Resonance Health’s products can add value. With a focus on HepaFat-Scan® and our developing liver fibrosis technology, his work has already led to a number of new and important studies in the NAFLD/NASH and diabetes fields. Prior to joining Resonance Health, he established a research laboratory investigating brain diseases, while teaching undergraduates and supervising post-graduate students. Well before this time, he worked as a sales engineer, product specialist, and technical sales executive with a number of medical and laboratory supply companies. Combined, his working life has spanned both the academic and commercial worlds. Married with two teenaged children, he enjoys Perth’s abundant coastal lifestyle and occasionally finds the time to play the guitar.
